The name is Vincenzo Ruggieri and this is a little of his story!
Vincenzo is a unique Creative Filmmaker backed by decades of experience!
He was born in a small town in Central Europe to Italian parents. At the age of 13 he became fascinated by images and sound and his video production carrier started.
Learning the business carrying video equipment for professional cameraman and assisting them in shooting and editing. Soon thereafter he carried his own equipment and started his own movie making!
After shooting and editing for many clients around the world he was on location on a glacier in Austria in 1989 where he was asked by a BBC producer if he would be interested in covering two British adventurers competing in "The Gold Rush Classic", a snowmobile race from Anchorage to Nome on the historic Iditarod trail? Vincenzo took the job and embarked on an adventure that was to change his life!
In 1990 he landed in Anchorage Alaska. After covering the event he flu back home and 30 days later he made a bold move to Alaska where he worked as a motel maintenance employee shoveling snow off the Motel roof as a trade for his room and board. His first break came after the winter of 1990 came to an end. Ruggieri was hired to shoot a wedding! Soon there after he started producing a TV show called "The Spirit of Alaska" followed by numerous documentaries including the local Un cited way branch as well as the LOCAL police department and many ads for businesses and politicians.
His second big break came when he shot Sarah Palin's very first television commercial as she was running for local office. He then started a local newscasts named "Valley News" and shot and edited as well as produced over 800 shows on KYES-TV5. Vincenzo got his 3rd break as he became executive producer in a major motion picture called "Avalanche". Vincenzo spent 10 years in "THE LAST FRONTIER".
He left the extreme North for Europe and 17 years later moved back to North America but this time to the extreme south!
